Director of Vietnam’s Institute for Policy, Advocacy, and Development Strategy (IPADS), Le Nguyen Thien Nga, visited the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).

Deputy Executive Director of CAERC, Ayaz Museyibov, emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between the two countries, considering Vietnam’s successful economic policies in the region and the dynamic development of Azerbaijan’s economy. He also informed the guest about the goals outlined in the “2022–2026 Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan” and the “First State Program on the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” as well as the work carried out in the development of infrastructure and the creation of green zones in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions.

Ayaz Museyibov spoke about the digital platforms created for the monitoring and evaluation of state programs — www.azerbaijan2030.gov.az and www.boyukqayidish.gov.az. He highlighted the achievements in integrating artificial intelligence into these systems and the effective processing of big data. He particularly noted that the Center’s monitoring and evaluation mechanism for state programs is unique and has been awarded seven international prizes in 2025 by international media organizations based in the USA, the United Kingdom, and the UAE.

Museyibov added that the Center’s achievements in the field of monitoring and evaluation have attracted the interest of Central Asian countries, and active efforts are being made to develop cooperation in this direction.

Le Nguyen Thien Nga gave a presentation and stated that she is the project leader of the national initiative “From Policy to Life.” She expressed her intention to expand cooperation with CAERC, emphasizing the importance of continuing collaboration in areas such as the integration of artificial intelligence, monitoring and evaluation of state programs, organization of joint seminars, preparation of reports, and development of joint research projects.

Both parties expressed their interest in launching mutual experience exchange in the field of state program management, including monitoring and evaluation. Additionally, they discussed the continuation of cooperation through relevant official channels in areas such as mutual investment, strengthening of economic relations, tourism opportunities, conducting joint research, and organizing events. The meeting was also attended by Orkhan Sadigov, Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department of CAERC, and Rashad Najafli, Chief Advisor of the Economic Analysis Department.
