An online meeting was organized to clarify the target indicators of the State Program on the Simplification of Formalities in Air Transport for the next year. The meeting was attended by Orkhan Sadigov, Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, Arzu Suleymanov, Head of the Efficiency Evaluation Sector, other staff of the department, as well as representatives of the main executive bodies mentioned in the Action Plan.

The coordinated activities carried out by the executive bodies under the indicators set in the Action Plan aim to simplify formalities in air transport and to ease the transportation of passengers, cargo, baggage, mail, and onboard supplies (food). During the meeting, issues of ensuring reporting for 2025 within the Action Plan, as well as the directions to be considered in the next stage of indicative planning for the fulfillment of upcoming tasks, were highlighted.

In addition, important points were emphasized regarding the full and effective implementation of the mentioned measures, as well as the expansion of evaluation opportunities within the framework of the Action Plan.

It should be noted that according to Part 4 of the Decree No. 520 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 12, 2025, "On the approval of the State Program on the Simplification of Formalities in Air Transport," the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures envisaged in the Action Plan was assigned to the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, based on the order of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
