An online meeting was held between the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) of Azerbaijan, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board, and the University of Agriculture in Pakistan.

During the meeting, Aydan Huseynzade, Project Manager of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, delivered a presentation on the “Green and Digital Silk Road” international acceleration program, implemented within the framework of the “Startup School 3” project. The presentation covered the program’s objectives, areas of activity, and the opportunities it offers for regional startups.

It was noted that the program aims not only to support innovative initiatives in the region but also to expand startups’ access to international markets and to promote the adoption of green and digital technologies.

The meeting included an exchange of views on scientific and technological innovations, digitalization, investment opportunities, and prospects for international cooperation in the startup ecosystem.

The parties also discussed expanding knowledge and experience exchange between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in the fields of technology and innovation, as well as implementing joint initiatives.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue cooperation to involve Pakistani startups operating in innovation and agricultural technologies in the “Green and Digital Silk Road” acceleration program.
