The next info session within the framework of the “Startup School 3” project, organized by the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), took place at the Western Caspian University. In addition to the university’s students, the presentation was actively attended by the teaching staff and young entrepreneurs interested in the field of innovation.
In his speech, the head of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, Isa Gasimov, provided detailed information about the “Green and Digital Silk Road” international acceleration program. He noted that the main goal of the program is to support startups operating in the field of green and digital technologies, bring new ideas to the ecosystem, and accelerate the integration of young people into global innovation processes.
The session was organized in an interactive format. Participants were introduced to the project’s goals and stages, selection criteria, training and mentoring opportunities, as well as prospects for cooperation with international partners. The participation of the teaching staff was of particular importance in terms of enriching startups with scientific approaches and academic experience. During the meeting, the participants' questions were answered and useful recommendations were shared based on real experiences.
It should be noted that the "Startup School 3" project is aimed at strengthening the startup ecosystem of Azerbaijan, increasing the entrepreneurial potential of young people and preparing them for the international market. The project is implemented in cooperation with both local and foreign innovation initiatives.
