The Enterprise Azerbaijan portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), is launching the international acceleration program "Startup School 3: Green and Digital Silk Road" in partnership with the University of Nevada (USA) and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence.
Held under the motto "Green and Digital Silk Road," this international initiative will span from April to December 2025. In addition to supporting startups engaged in digital and green development, the project aims to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in the region, foster international partnerships, and facilitate the exchange of advanced practices.
The primary objective of the program is to foster the growth of startups that offer products or services in the fields of digitalization and green technologies, to support the regional integration of innovative ideas, and to expand collaboration opportunities among startup ecosystem stakeholders.
The mission of the initiative is to promote digital transformation and ecological sustainability in participating countries through the framework of the Green and Digital Silk Road concept.
Startups from countries in Central Asia and along the historic Silk Road—including Azerbaijan, Hungary, Türkiye, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan—are eligible to apply for the program.
The project will engage prominent mentors from the United States, Germany, China, South Korea, Türkiye, and Azerbaijan.
It is noteworthy that the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal has previously successfully implemented the “Startup School 1” and “Startup School 2 – AI for Green Solidarity” programs.
