The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) held a meeting dedicated to discussing the results of the preliminary monitoring for 2024 under the “State Program for Geological Study of the Earth’s Subsoil and Efficient Use of Mineral Raw Materials Base for 2020–2024”.

The event was attended by Ayaz Museyibov, Deputy Executive Director of CAERC, Sabina Jumazade, Deputy Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, Abdulrahim Dadashov, Head of the Monitoring of the Socio-Economic Programs Sector, as well as responsible representatives of the Geological Exploration Agency under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the State Agency for the Use of Mineral Raw Materials Reserves, and “AzerGold” CJSC.

Ayaz Museyibov, emphasizing the strategic importance of the implementation of the State Program, highly appreciated the results achieved in the field of conducting geological surveys and efficient use of mineral raw materials reserves. He provided detailed information to the participants on the main points to be considered in the process of the final evaluation of the State Program.

After interactive discussions, it was agreed to include additional information to enrich the report based on the opinions submitted by representatives of relevant institutions on the results of the initial monitoring. During the event, the work done on the implementation of the Action Plan for 2024 and the evaluation indicators were presented, and the role of the targeted and large-scale projects implemented in ensuring the efficient use of mineral raw materials in our country was emphasized.
