The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication conducted a training session for members of the Procurement Commission. During the training, each commission member was provided with information on professional development, including the efficient use of state budget funds, transparency, and compliance with regulatory discipline.
The training, delivered by the Center's legal expert, Nigar Hafizgizi, covered the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan on public procurement. Additionally, participants were informed about the key norms and principles of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Public Procurement" and the "Code of Conduct for Officials Involved in Procurement," approved by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 11, 2024. The session also addressed the responsibilities of the Procurement Commission, the management of conflicts of interest in procurement, violations of public procurement legislation, and other related topics.
During the training, the questions of the Procurement Commission members were answered, and they were provided with the necessary documents and materials.
