The "Azexport" portal and "MeetUp Networking Club," operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, have launched a project aimed at exporting Azerbaijani goods to the markets of Sri Lanka and India. To initiate this process, a meeting was held with Tani Shyen, a representative of an importing company based in Sri Lanka.

During the meeting, discussions were conducted to facilitate the introduction of a selection of Azerbaijani agro-industrial and food products into market chains across Sri Lanka and India. Tani Shyen was briefed on the regulatory requirements for export operations, including necessary certifications, customs procedures, logistics, and insurance.

Aykhan Gadashov, head of the "Azexport" portal, conducted an online presentation showcasing Azerbaijani goods. This was followed by a tasting session of Azerbaijani agricultural products, during which sales opportunities in the Sri Lankan and Indian markets were discussed.

Further meetings are planned between the importing company representative, Tani Shyen, and Azerbaijani companies involved in agriculture and food production.

Initially, various fruit juices, compote, tomato paste, nuts, fresh pomegranates, dates, quinces, plums, and pears, along with dried fruit products, are scheduled for introduction to sales networks in the Sri Lankan and Indian markets. Entrepreneurs interested in collaboration are encouraged to submit their proposals through the "azexport.az" portal and "MeetUp Networking Club."
