Vusala Jafarova, head of the Turkic World Research Center under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), delivered a presentation at the 6th International Congress on Economy, Finance, and Energy (EFE 2024), held in a hybrid format from October 24-26 in Istanbul, Turkiye. Her presentation focused on "The Role of the Middle Corridor in Enhancing Economic Cooperation within the Framework of the Organization of Turkic States."

In her presentation, Ms. Jafarova highlighted that the Middle Corridor has established a crucial link for energy and transportation between Eurasia and Europe, serving as a significant mechanism to enhance integration and foster economic cooperation among members of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), particularly Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Turkey. She also emphasized that the Middle Corridor is a vital element facilitating cooperation not only in economic matters but also in trade, energy transit, and regional security.

The "EFE 2024" Congress, organized by Fatih Sultan Mehmet University of Turkiye, Ahmet Yasavi University of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan State University of Economics and the Economy, Finance, and Energy Association, brought together researchers from the Turkic world working in economics, finance, and energy to discuss current issues.
