An intellectual competition among startup teams was held as part of the "Green Talk" project organized by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. The event, in cooperation with the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal and "SABAH HUB," was dedicated to "Green Technologies."
The competition featured teams from the "StartUp School 2-AI for Green Solidarity" project of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal in the "Agriculture" category, as well as startups from the SABAH.HUB Innovation Center, all vying for first place.
Matanat Musayeva, the head of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, explained that the event, dedicated to the year of "Solidarity for a Green World," aimed to raise environmental awareness, draw attention to environmental protection, educate youth, and foster knowledge exchange.
Following this, the competition's moderator, Türkay Verdiyeva, briefed participants on the rules and conditions of the competition. In the first round, questions focused on the upcoming COP29 event to be held in our country, as well as topics related to "green" technologies. After a tense contest, the "Agrochat" team from Nakhchivan State University and the "ClearPath Shepherd" team from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University advanced to the final round. In the final stage, questions addressed environmental issues and their underlying causes.
The competition results were judged by Habil Ahmadov, head of the "Startup Future" company; Mazahir Ahmadov, an employee of SABAH.HUB; and Kamran Manafzadeh, head of the "Sigma Systems" company.
The "ClearPath Shepherd" team emerged victorious in the final and was awarded a computer by "Sigma Systems." Other participants received gifts from the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
