The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication has launched a new project. The main goal of the "Green Talk" project is to support the formation of green thinking in the country within the framework of the "Green World Solidarity" year.
The first meeting within the project took place on the topic of "Climate change" with the initiative of "Reform Volunteers" and the support of the National Hydrometeorological Service. At the meeting, Aygun Narimanova, deputy director of the Climate Change Center of the National Hydrometeorology Service, made a presentation to the Azerbaijani volunteers.
A. Narimanova gave the students detailed information about the main causes and consequences of climate change, global warming, climate action and climate changes in Azerbaijan. He also spoke about the development of the green economy in the world and in Azerbaijan, fundamental reforms in this field in our country, renewable energy sources, the declaration of Karabakh, Eastern Zangezur and Nakhchivan as a "green energy" zone.
The importance of students' specialization in this field, strengthening of personnel potential and increasing international participation was emphasized at the meeting. Young people shared their views on the topic and asked their questions.
It should be noted that the "MEDIA Volunteers" program, "One Volunteer" Student Organization, "Family Volunteers" program, Eco-Volunteer, "Migration Volunteers", "Volunteer Friend", "Agrarian Development Volunteers", "SOCAR Volunteers", "Volunteer Food" were present at the meeting. Supervisor", "Reform volunteers", volunteers of "Regional Development" Public Union and students of Khazar University participated.
